Our History

We are a family owned and operated business located just outside of Chicago in Cicero, Illinois. When we started Contractors Rope in 2008, we recognized that specialty contractors often have very specific requirements based on their jobs and projects. But many aren’t sure which rope types to use, what materials work best, or how to determine just how much rope they’ll need.

So we launched Contractors Rope with a simple mission: to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and quality products at competitive prices. More importantly, we wanted to be a trusted resource and provide the information our customers need to get the job done right.
